You may be eligible for other scholarships and funding opportunities from the University of Edinburgh or an external organisation.
UK government postgraduate loans
If you live in the United Kingdom, you may be eligible to apply for a postgraduate loan through a UK government loan scheme.
The type and amount of financial support available will depend on:
- Your programme
- The duration of your studies
- Your tuition fee status
Please note: Programmes studied on a part-time, intermittent basis are not eligible.
UK government and other external funding
Tuition fee discounts
We offer a 10% discount on postgraduate tuition fees for alumni who have graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh.
A 10% discount is also available to students who previously matriculated on an undergraduate ‘Visiting Programme’ and completed at least one semester of study at the University of Edinburgh.
