How does it feel to be selected for the Alumni 100 list?

"It feels great to be selected in an Alumni 100 list at the university that changed my life forever, the historical University of Edinburgh. I am more than proud to be in the same list with other great minds that shape the modern world!"

What made you choose to study at the University of Edinburgh Business School?

"I chose the University of Edinburgh Business School because of the great reputation, the curriculum, and the amazing city of Edinburgh. I felt that Edinburgh would become second home to me, and it looks like you live in a fairytale."

What are your memories of studying at the Business School?

"My MSc year at the Business School is the best year of my life so far and made me a citizen of the world. I broadened my mind, I came up with various business (and more) ideas, and met wonderful people from all over the world who helped me develop my perspective. Last but not least, I developed the business plan of my company via my dissertation."

What key thing that you learnt at the Business School do you still rely on today?

"Respect the cultural, national, and every kind of personality differences of other people. Also another key thing I learnt at the Business School and still rely on today is the cooperation and the team spirit needed in order to achieve a common goal."

Proudest work-related achievement to date?

"My proudest work-related achievements are: being chosen by the United Nations Sustainable Development Network to become sustainability leader along with 100 other international minds through the Local Pathways Fellowship in order to transform my city and make it sustainable and resilient; the fact that I founded my innovative Green Roof company at such a very early age, having already worked in various industries and positions; and last but not least the fact that my work has been published in Vogue Italia."

What's the one thing you think current students need to develop or learn before entering the modern workplace?

"One thing that current students need to develop before entering the workplace is the ability to be resilient, adaptable, and have the ability to work in cross-functional environments by developing different skills from different fields. Specifically, young people should have opinions and be curious about learning new things. Things do not always go as planned but vision is what will keep them on track. I believe that young people should not be afraid to take risks and work hard with respect for themselves."
