Following his career in the Armed Forces and his MBA from the Business School, Seb changed track and now works in automotive engineering.

What made you choose to study at the University of Edinburgh Business School?
"The city and university are world-class. What a place to study and meet people! The sense of history around you and the great leaders who have walked those corridors."
What are your memories of studying at the Business School?
"Intense work, amazing people from all over the world, different views and cultures. Made fantastic friends."
What key thing that you learnt at the Business School do you still rely on today?
"Look at problems from a different perspective. I learnt how to transform what I had experienced in the Armed Forces to be of use in business."
Proudest work-related achievement to date?
"Working with exceptional people in Formula 1 and being able to help shape the future of our engineering."
What's the one thing you think current students need to develop or learn before entering the modern workplace?
"Learning is not always done in the classroom. Experience, travel, and interacting with people will complete you. You should never stop learning and adapting yourself. Listen to those around you. Leaders don't always have the answers, but hire bright people to give them solutions."
