Recently, I had the privilege of embarking on an enriching academic journey at Northeastern University in the vibrant city of Boston, MA. Collaborating closely with esteemed scholars like Dr. Eileen Ottis and Professor Steven Vallas, as well as engaging with the dynamic Digital Labour group of PGR researchers, marked a pivotal phase in my PhD journey.

During my visit, I had the opportunity to present my research and receive feedback from distinguished academics at Northeastern. The discussions were insightful and constructive, challenging me to refine and expand upon my ideas. Participating in PhD seminars at both Harvard Business School and Boston University provided a unique perspective on current research trends and methodologies, further enriching my academic experience.

One of the highlights was attending a lecture by Professor Michael Pratt at Boston College, where I not only gained profound insights into my research area but also received expert feedback for my future work.

Beyond the academic engagements, this visit allowed me to immerse myself in the U.S. higher education system, understanding its nuances and establishing connections with fellow PhD students, both new acquaintances and familiar faces from previous conference encounters. These interactions not only broadened my academic network but also fostered a collaborative spirit essential for future research endeavours.

Overall, my visit to Northeastern University was an invaluable opportunity to deepen my knowledge, refine my research agenda, and gain fresh perspectives. I am grateful for the warm hospitality and intellectual exchange that made this experience both professionally enriching and personally rewarding.
