At the DAIT-Lab, we're a multidisciplinary team of academics, researchers, and students passionate about designing and conducting research that explores the transformative potential of digital technologies and facilitate their practical implementation. Our mission is to foster collaboration between academia, industry, and vendors and future adopters of technologies, ensuring that the latest digital technologies are not only researched and developed, but are more notably, adopted and integrated into practical organizational environments. Our projects explore (research) and provide insights (impact) into different aspects of digital transformation that serve innovators as well as adopters of technologies.

- Creation of cross-organisational knowledge ecosystem for accelerated digital transformation
- Evaluation of digital transformation initiatives within organisations and sectors

- Exploring and evaluating the roles of intermediaries in shaping the AI markets
- Qualitative and mixed method evaluation of AI technologies and projects
- Offering Implementation Science theories, tools, and methods for adopting and scaling up AI
- Developing use-cases for innovative AI tools for transformation of practices
- The development and implementation of Responsible AI practices
- Examining adoption, use and effects of Generative AI
The lab offers engagement activities and training with/for partners outside the university. This includes hosting events on campus or having lab members participate in industry events.
