The case studies were excellent—good to spend time working through a real-life example—it definitely brought home the key messages.
Really valuable to hear the practical experiences from the speaker and from other colleagues in the room. Lots of very helpul information and discussion about culture fit, path to profitability, and focus on business model.
I liked the use of case studies; they keep the session interactive and high-energy. I also liked the idea of different tables answering different questions as it avoided too much repetition in the answers. That said, it surprised me that new answers came up even when the table was the third one to be asked—this shows the value of hearing from all the participants in the room. Overall, another great, informative and engaging session. Thank you!
In common with the other sessions I have found the subject matter and approach with the case studies to be very thought-provoking—it's like I have many lightbulbs/ideas switched on in my head—which is great! The speakers last night were well-selected and the fit between their experiences and case studies worked very well.

This programme provides exposure to real-life insights from very experienced NXDs and an awareness of the breadth of issues facing Boards.
The programme acts not only as a refresher course, but also as the generator of ideas, challenges and new thinking: shared experience is central to the workshops and provides endless food for thought from some of the best NXDs operating in this country today.
