What attracted you to study at the Business School?
I always dreamed of studying at one of the best universities in the world. I have realised now that it is not just about the University, but also the environment you are learning in and the support you receive. The University of Edinburgh delivers on all of these.
What skills have you learned since studying at the School?
The skill that I think will be the most important to my future career is communication. The Business School holds a lot of networking events that help you to develop your networking and communication abilities and to build high quality contacts. These included networking events with other staff and students, and with companies, so that you are exposed to different ideas and knowledge and can learn about different career opportunities.
What support have you received from the Student Development Team?
Some of the Student Development Team sessions are optional, but I am glad that I did not miss any of them! It has been a great opportunity for me to assess where I am now and what skills I need to develop to get into the career I want in the future. I also have a much better idea of what to expect when I am searching for jobs, and I am prepared for this.
